What do the Pels have to do to win around Zion?

Can they build a contending team around Zion-Ingram-Lonzo assuming rumours of Holiday getting traded becomes true and he’s dealt? What’s the best path forward to help them develop and win?

I think right now they just need to keep developing the players and hope to get some playoff experience. From there, I'd see whether Ingram or Zion can develop into a #1 option player on a contending team. If not, they have a lot of other assets (picks, Jrue, Hayes) to make a move for a superstar player.

If Lonzo can develop himself into a 40% three point shooter, he'll be a high value player in today's league. A 6'7 unselfish guard with great vision and can guard multiple positions? Not that many of them in the league right now.

The last thing the Pels should do is a trade a vet like Holiday. Youth movements need strong vet leadership and on top of that, he's a really good basketball player.

Pelicans need to lock up both Ingram and Holiday...if they can do that and Lonzo develops into more of an offensive threat from 3 point land...then the Pelicans will be all right especially if Zion loses weight and gets into shape

Hope he stays healthy, fit, and wait a little bit. Has Zion improves his handle, shot, and gets seasoning he will be easy to build around.

At this point what can they get for him? He's got 2 years and $25M left on his contract and has looked absolutely terrible for stretches.

a bag of basketballs I dunno, but they need to get rid of him. That would be a start.

Maybe package him with a prospect like Hayes, and attach a pick with it
