    Swift going forward

Wow... what a game from Swifty!

Does this change anything moving forward? Itís probably too soon to anoint him the starter, but does he strike you as a solid starter for years to come?

Does having AP, hurt his growth? What percentage of carries should he get?

Was this a one time thing?

Having AP hurts Swift's growth. Plain and Simple. Yes he is a veteran back that fans can quickly go, "well he's going to learn so much from him based on how long he's been playing". Forget that. Edwards-Helaire seems to be doing just fine getting the bulk of the carries and learning as he goes over in KC.

It's time to give Swift a consistent 15 carries a game. He's the guy for this year and the following 2-3 years.

In regards to AP, what do you think a playoff contending team would give up for him?

what is the reason to give AP 4x carries when Swift looks 100% better than him?

I said this exact thing when they signed AP and got lambasted on Twitter.

Edwards-Helaire will have his load reduce now that Bell is there. As far as Swift goes he should be getting the bulk of the carries.

Swift doesnít have Barrys break away speed.... did you guys notice how he gave up on the 55 yarder? Barry would have ran harder and that DB would have grabbed air.

it would have to be AP's right? they seem to be the same type of running backs/styles.

Kerryon is interesting though. He's been plagued by injuries his first 2 years so do you resign him or just try and find another one via the draft? He's got 1 more year left on his contract and I can see another team signing him for more than what the Lions are willing to give him.

I think we pay the guy. I doubt weíll find anyone better in the draft or FA. We need to commit to someone at some point. Having him injured often could be to our benefit, we could sign him for cheap.
