Rockets Willing to Sell farm for Joel Embiid

    https://clutchpoints.com/rockets-rum...-embiid-trade/

So if everything except harden is on the table then they clearly dont want to trade for joel because they have nothing that would interest us that equates to similar value outside of finding a moron willing to give up something damn good for westy and that contract

God imagine a guard duo of Westbrook and Simmons. Worst shooting backcourt in NBA history?

honestly the only way they could get joel would be to deal us harden.... westy/joel could work as would a simmons/harden

Joel Embiid to the Rockets would be like Hakeem Olajuwon to the Rockets...a dominant big man and you pair him up with Harden...that is a dynamic duo that would look scary especially on paper

Good luck. The Rockets donít have anyone over 6í10Ē which means Elton Brand doesnít want anyone from that team.

Even if they had their first round picks, Houston doesn't have the assets to make this happen. It would take Harden, and unless Houston is going full rebuild, that's not happening.

Joel Embiid if anything would fit more on a team like the Raptors especially since you could work it in a trade that sends Lowry home to Philly since he is from there...plus Embiid and Siakam have that African connection being from Cameroon and Ujiri being African...you can always go after Embiid if you can't get Giannis

Or other teams Embiid would be a good fit:

Brooklyn Nets to team up with Kyrie and KD
    New York Knicks
    Los Angeles Clippers
    Miami Heat
    Phoenix Suns

    S&T Dinwiddie + S&T Harris + DeAndre/Allen for Embiid + future 1st round pick

    Allen/Jordan
    Horford
    Harris
    Harris
    Simmons

    6th man: Dinwiddie

Bkn gets their big 3 and Philly becomes a much better team. Everyone wins.

If Tobias is still a 3 and Horford a 4, 76ers are not a better team. In no world is playing multiple guys out of position to the teams benefit. Especially if Ben will continue to refuse to shoot.

Adding Joe Harris to that starting 5 along with a defensive anchor like Allen or Jordan absolutely makes the Sixers a better team. Dinwiddie would also allow versatility which the Sixers never had during the Simmons/Embiid run. The Sixers were exposed for not having any ball handlers besides Simmons. Dinwiddie would allow rotations which could feature Horford at the 5 and Simmons at the 4 even.

No it wouldn't. Neither of those centers can shoot. The teams can't have just 1 guy who can knock down shots in Joe Harris, this isn't the 90s. Ben, refuses to shoot, DJ can't shoot, Horford terrible at shooting as a 4 due to matchups, Tobias is at or below league average from deep.

Horrible recipe, probably makes the team worse, tbh.

If Ben Simmons is going to be successful, with the 76ers or otherwise and continues to refuse to shoot. He needs to be surrounded by guys like rashard lewis, hedo turkoglu, jj redick and mickael pietrus, even then it probably doesn't matter because he can't stay healthy.

Trying to recreate/matchup with a Lebron/AD combo that just beat there heads in. Embiid is the one guy that AD canít handle. But Dwight or DMC would be guarding Embiid if and when the Lakers play them.

Who on the Sixers can knock down shots like Joe Harris can? Nobody. Allen/DJ fill the void that Joel leaves on defence while the shots he takes would be split between one of those 2 and Harris. Instead of having a 7 footer taking 3ís itíd be Joe Harris. Then you have Allen or DJ taking 6-8 shots a game from in the paint at a way better % than Embiid could ever dream of putting up. Then thereís Dinwiddie who will take pressure off Simmons. This trade makes the Sixers way better than they are now.
