Coach, do you mean When Miami was playing soft and giving us the underneath stuff?

    Hey, it was a positive
Wonder who Gase is going to point the finger at in the post game presser.

I give gase credit for not kicking a fg to stop the shutout

Williams because Williams pointes it at hiM

    Lol

Greg caused a divide that we didnít need. This team had great practices and Greg ruined their confidence when he suggested the offense was bad
    That showed in he game

I agree, but why not try to get Perrine his first NFL touchdown? Maybe something the team could be happy about. Once again, that is why the guy sux. He is definitely not a 'players' coach!

Defense played pretty well, considering offenses horribleness

I donít think Lawrence is the answer, gase has made every QB look bad. Get Darnold some weapons and a real coach. Iím not sold on Trevor as the answer.

I think Sam can be a top half of the league QB. Maybe even better
TL looks amazing right now but he struggled a few times last year and this year is weird
I think we will know better in the playoffs

I would be fine either way. As long as gase is gone

Man, shutout by the Dolphins. I think this is the worst Jets team I've seen in my over 20yrs of fandom.

If the Jets are bad enough to have the #1 pick and take Lawrence, Gase won't be here. There's no way Joe Douglas can hitch his ride to a guy who couldn't do anything with Darnold and potentially coached a 1-15 team.

Its not about Gase being the coach into next season anymore. Its about when they fire him. Whether its tonight, during the bye week or after the season.

I feel like all these top flight QB talents are way too over scrutinized. Lawrence has all the tools. Size, athleticism, mobility, arm talent, etc. I mean he's not perfect but which QB coming out of the draft is? He's arguably the best QB prospect to come out since Andrew Luck. The key is putting him into a situation where he can succeed. You need to have weapons, protect him well, and give him good coaching. Gase can't do those things and the Jets have yet to show they can build an offense.

Did anyone ever think that Lawrence might refuse to sign with us if the Jets draft him btw? Its very possible given the direction of this franchise.

Regarding your Lawrence question, it depends on what the Jets do to rebuild the coaching staff and how they do in FA leading up to the draft.

Iíve heard the same assessment about Sam coming out, be real if he had the same weapons and coaching as other QBs (looking at Allen) he would be a much different QB.

He needs weapons and a competent HC/OC, Lawrence can be Jesus Christ himself and would fail with this setup. Ditching Darnold shouldnít even be a thing right now.
