Well I'll be damned. How did I miss that? That's good news.

Nah, there are WS standard off days after game 2 and game 5 (if the series goes that far).

I was listening to MLB network on Sirius and they were talking about The bullpen wasn't really warming up until they scored the two runs, so more than likely had they not scored, Kershaw was going to go back out.

In a normal full season, LA would be flying to Tampa right now, which would be great for Kershaw's back. So he gets a break with no travel.

Kershaw this postseason is 4-1 with a 2.93 era.
Unless he comes in relief, his postseason is set, and we can put this dumb narrative to bed.

Until next season...you know people are going to just continue to find reasons to give him a hard time.

Poor Kershaw. So misunderstood and underappreciated.

13-12 lifetime in the playoffs wiht a 4.19 ERA.
1 year does not cure all the past

It seems that one single quality start is enough to cure all the past for many of our resident Dodger fans.

1 post season doesnt make up for it and he hasnt been that impressive.. He has become a glorified long reliever at this point not allowed to go past 80 pitches or the 6th inning out of fear he will choke

but yes lets ignore that the dodgers/dodger fans and dodgers manager are scared that the dude is being left in to long when he was at 70 pitches... yet somehow we should be impressed?

    A 1.079 WHIP isn't that bad, actually.

You have to erase nearly all context to just look at that and call it a day. Including the insane amount of inherited runners that his bull pen allowed to score.

Dodger fans were complaining he got taken out to soon. Most fans wanted to see him finish the 6th. At which point he'd have around 100ish pitches. He should have been left in. So because he was pulled earlier than he should have been after pitching well, that means game 1 of the world series didn't happen?

So because he was taken out earlier than fans wanted in game 5 the 6 inning 8K 2 hit performance just didn't happen now?

When the dodgers needed Kershaw to step up and pitch well this postseason he has.

Was game 1 not a "big game" was game 5 of a 2-2 series, not a "big game" I mean your faulting him for something out of his control at this point.
