Too bad. Figured he would stay in Denver.

Dwight is expendable. Thanks for your service, moving on.

The Dwight Howard contract in Philadelphia is for the veteran minimum exception of $2.6M, per league sources.

    The cap hit is $1.6M

In all seriousness, even if you were right wrt the cap hold, I don't think it would give us more flexibility, because this is not like being under the cap, where you can spend in free agents, and then re-up your own free agents over the cap.

In this case we're up against the apron, and if we were to go above it at any time, including after signing AD, we would lose the MLE and BAE. So it makes no difference as far as I know.
No worries. I'm not a big cap knowledge guy anyway.

I like WCS, Biyombo, Noel in that order.

The way I see it we can't offer Ibaka the full MLE cause we won't have it if we spend it all on him and still have open roster spots that need to get filled.

The guy just can't help being a douche. He got his chip and now took the best offer available. Probably go back to being a douche again. I agree, maybe Pelinka got a nod from Ibaka and he would rather have him and maybe someone like WCS for less.

It sounds like the Lakers pulled the offer on Dwight, Ibaka may be coming in.

Does this mean Rondo is pretty much out as well?

I knew we were going to lose guys and we would have some pissed off fans...but I was hoping it would be Danny green and Javale.
