Lakers can not forget. Rondo stepped up and he is no longer an option. Lakers was on the Market for a PG leading up to him stepping up trying to get Collison out of retirement. That would have been Combo Bradley, Combo Caruso, Rondo, Collison, Cook if one was not traded or waived. If Caruso or Dennis have to miss any time they will be short on playmaking.

Denni is our new Rondo, but with more punch offensively. Plus he can defer way more from Lebron when playing together. THT is going to groom to become the third pg. but is pretty obvious that they are not done setting the third wheel players.

This is good news. I feel like this kid will be a legitimate NBA player in some capacity. He may not be Giannis, but will definitely have an impact.

I'm sure he learns lot from his brothers.

As part of their roster moves, the Los Angeles Lakers reversed course and did not end up stretching Quinn Cook's salary. Because of the JaVale McGee trade and subsequent waiver of Jordan Bell, LA was able to take the full hit for Cook at $1M for the 2020-21 season.

This is what separates the Lakers from being able to sign a 15th player before the season starts.

Lakers will now be $4.5M below the apron once they max out Davis, enough for two more veteran minimum signings.

It's great to be adding to the defense.

A strong defense can carry the team when they are off on their shooting.

Pepinos is a genius. Not only he is making this team better but he has maneuvered with the moves to best attract Giannis. He has put the Lakers in the best possible situation to get Giannis. Not only with cap flexibility but also with his brother and fellow agent clients. Glad he is our GM. Great job Rob.

Keeping Mc Kinnie puts Kuzma in a very hot spot.either you perform or you will go faster on a trade. Mc does basically what Kuzma was supposed to do, but failed to do it in a consistent way.

While I would be a huge fan of Giannis joining the Lakers, I'm trying to reconcile how we would position everyone on defense. Am I overthinking this too much? Does this just mean that AD has to guard the 5, Giannis on the 4, and Lebron on the 3? Does it even matter because offensively we would be so dominant? Someone tell me if I'm overthinking this.
