He had a great kickoff that was only returned to the 20 to start the game.

Then he had another one returned only to the 21 later in the game.

    The other three were touchbacks.

He made his 31 yarder. And hit the really big 55 yarder.

He did have an excellent game. And it was likely relatively quiet in the NFC from other kickers.

I forgot that it's only NFC. Was thinking of McManus and his 6 FGs, but he took AFC honors.

    This would be very nice.

Or rather, that's what I would say if I wasn't contrarian. We shouldn't do the smart thing. Because apparently I desperately need to go against the narrative.

Honestly, Foles has been pretty bad. His numbers reflect that. Heís checked it down when he had shots downfield. His biggest positive is the BDN aura and heís good pre snap and setting up the offense. Needs major improvement

Any idea what the rate of "turnover worthy throws" turn into turnovers? Because so far 4 of his have.

Basically, yes. One of the reasons we haven't ended up with TD's more is that he makes too many poor throws, even when making good reads.

BUT one of the reasons I believe the defense has played better is that we have had WAY fewer 3 and outs.

He's been pretty bad, but at least he's a top 25 passing qb, and can read a defense/go through progressions.

Also, there aren't stats to quantify how he's been bad as a result of a terrible offensive line. Mitch's numbers -as awful as they were- were incredibly inflated because of his ability to buy time.

In fact, the numbers show our oline is mediocre , which we all know is ******** lol

If you put the other 31 starters in this situation, Mitch would be worse than 40-50 (unqualified ) and Foles would be about 20-23 or so imo

The numbers don't show it but its still very clear imo

Foles is better, but still not good. I thought we knew that though.

Our O-line likely is mediocre at pass blocking. I think people know what great lines look like and just don't realize how bad mediocre lines are.

They suck at run blocking. But pass blocking they're OK.

So this week's episode of "The Tape Never Lies" came out showing breakdowns of the Carolina game..

On Nick Fole's bad interception that we all collectively had Cutler PTSD over...... EVERY. SINGLE. OFFENSIVE LINEMAN. MISSED THEIR BLOCKS. Every damn one of them. What in the actual hell is our coaching staff doing.... because it looks like they where really selling the fake to set up a screen, but no actual screen pass was ever attempted (nor was their any RB in the vicinity within which to run said screen).

This offensive line is just inexcusable. Daniels (provided he can come back ok from the injury) and MAYBE Whitehair can stay (but even he is having a down year), but I wouldn't want literally any of the rest even as a damn backup.
