Certainly a game our defense will need to play a pretty clean game. They have several offensive weapons which can do damage, even if a few of them are aging, they still need respecting, and some receivers who are dangerous. Now that being said the offense needs to play well too. Their D isn't driving fear in really anyone, they just suffered a huge loss on that side of the ball losing Vita Vea. Their secondary was giving A-Rob a lot of space if guys like Adams or MVS get similar cushions certainly expect to see them exploit that. On paper their D gives up the second least yards and 8th fewest points, but watching them play doesn't really seem to tell the whole story. Sometimes Tampa can look pretty good, at other times they look vulnerable.

I think much like the NO game, a winnable game, but could be dangerous if we don't play our game. However, also like NO big potential seeding game here.

Their run defense has been really good. Vea not being there will certainly hurt some, but they still have a really strong run defense. They tend to defend the middle of the field well, but I'm not super impressed with their outside guys. This could be an outside WR type of game, so I'm glad adams should be back.

I think what will make it interesting too is we have two receiving threats from the backfield. Looking at their game stats it seems like the key is to spread the ball around. The way the offense has played the Bucs can't focus strictly on Adams and Jones and expect to win. With the Vea loss too it could impact their pass defense if he's not getting to the QB often he's the guy opening the path to the QB. Overall, will be an interesting match up.

offense is clicking very well. the short game is working. ESB looked clueless on his pass. looks to be 10 nothing at end of the first.

So much for the best oline in football. Every time people start talking like that, we start reading our own press clippings and get our **** pushed in.

We were gonna need a 2nd half shutout to have a realistic chance I think.
