Who are the Top Players in the NBA Entering 2020-21 Season?

    My Top 5 List:

    1. Kawhi Leonard - LA Clippers

Still the best 2 way player in the league by far. He is a 2x finals MVP and has the best organization (Ballmer, West, Winger, Jenkins) and Executive of the Year (Frank) to help him even improve even more. Only 28 years old. If the organization can continue the load management tactic they can preserve him longterm so that he can dominate in the postseason.

    2. Giannis Antetokounmpo - Milwaukee Bucks

The reigning 1x DPOY and 2x League MVP. He is just an unstoppable force and is a consistent jump shot away from dominating this league at his age.

    3. James Harden - Houston Rockets

The man just knows how to score the ball. We've seen his track record. Nuff said.

    4. Luka Doncic - Dallas Mavericks

The most sensational young superstar that there is and basically mini LeBron with the potential to even rise.

    5. LeBron James - LA Lakers

Will be 36 years old but is coming off a title/fmvp against an injury-ravaged undermanned Heat team.

    3. Kawhi

If I could bear children, I'd want Luka to impregnate me... but um, several things wrong with this list.

1.) Kawhi is bae #2 and is superior to Luka (as of right now).
2.) Kawhi is on par with LeBron, at at worst, 2nd on this list.
3.) Harden might be a top 3 player if we are counting individual stats and excluding the playoffs. Taking everything into account, Steph and KD are superior (assuming they play on par to what they did before injury).

Sucks putting some of those players over Luka, but I'm just being objective. I do think he'll pass them soon enough though, but not yet.

    LeBron/Kawhi/Giannis/KD/Wardell

    Harden/AD/Luka

    Butler/Jokic/Dame/Embiid

    Tatum/Westbrook/Murray/Ben Simmons

    Mitchell/PG13/Kyrie/Zion

Outside of the top 5, I think guys can move up or down a tier fluidly. But just a quick jab at the top 20.

I love Giannis, but I feel people are giving him a huge pass for getting spanked by Heat.

Would you really take Curry over AD at this point? I like the rankings and everything but having AD on a whole tier below Curry just doesn't seem right after what we just saw.

He just won back to back league MVPs. How far down do you want to put him over 2 bad games?

I think Kawhi is better. Giannis is number 3.

Kawhi is on par in the regular season but a complete monster in the postseason.

Yeah man, I would. I just feel if both were on teams as the only superstar, identical rosters, that Curry would have a greater impact on winning than AD.
