Liam Hendriks, Blake Treinen and Hand are intriguing FA's in a buyer’s BP market.

Top 50 FA and their expected price and destination from MLBtraderumors. They only have the Yanks resigning Tanaka

They are usually pretty accurate on money but rarely ever get the place correct
If the bluejays can get DJ for 4 years and 68 million, that's a steal.
And yet no starting pitching on that list you made . And that is exactly what they have been lacking for close to 10 years now , especially the last 4 . And the constant lack of starting pitching over the years is why I never got my hopes high on what the front office did

I am not saying that will happen but I wouldn’t be shocked if cashman lets dj walk . He didn’t want dj in the first place , his assistants had to talk him into signing dj.
As for Tanaka I think they bring him back because we all know how cashman loves being sentimental . That’s the main reason why he keeps bringing Gardner back

13 mill a year is a heck of a pay cut for Tanaka to take . That’s a bit more than half of what he made this past season . And I read about Paxton’s injury history with the m’s and before . I can’t believe cashman traded one of the yanks best pitching prospects for a pitcher with a long injury history like Paxton . That is just unbelievably stupid. But on par with cashman , he did give 7 years to hicks and held on to judge while he was a minor leaguer . And if the dodgers get Bauer we can forget about the Yankees winning a ws anytime soon

ESPN is predicting 4yr88m for DJ to us and 2yrs 36m for Tanaka from the Twins. I honestly don't think anyone has a clue what this market is going to be like this winter.
Voit and Andujar for Rizzo, Bryant and 20m cash from the Cubs, who says no?
Never said it was a mistake just was pointing out cashman’s love affair with injury prone players over the years . And judge is injury prone .
Well it’s more than just a couple years , remember in 3 years , the prime years of cole , judge , and most of the core will be behind them .

did Judge struggle with injuries while he was in college and the MILB, i don't remember ?
As far as Tanaka, we desperately need starting pitching so my interest levels is based on what he's looking for contract wise. We have to get 2 starters to stabilize the rotation and we need one to be a legit #2 starter and a MORP. I think Tanaka and Kluber might be the best options for the later
CBS has us being interested in all the top available SS. CBS usually gives some pretty solid info. They also have us heavily going after Hand and Hendricks . The bad news is they have us resigning Tanaka for 3yrs 48m and Gardy 1yr 4M.
The one thing in common with all these FA predictors is that none of them seem to agree on anything.
