Kind of shocked Boston traded him. Wasn’t he one of their better young hitters?

Saw a report that Paxton is looking for at least 11m per year. But, didn't see for how many years he is looking for.

I don't think he's a bust. I think he just needs the right motivation to pick himself up & play harder.

Offer a 1 year 11 mil with a ton of incentives and a team option for a second year at 17?

Jon HeymanDavid Robertson, on the comeback trail, threw for a vast majority of teams (Yankees included) today at the University of Alabama. Touched 91, showed the patented curve, and of course in shape.

I wonder if the Yankee staffers would want him back after he cut them out of their playoff shares$

Like quite a few players.. he had a bad 2020.... like many, appears that when things shutdown in March, he let himself get out of shape and the meager ST they had in July was not enough. Much like Gleyber

For a million bucks and change that's a fine get. Especially seeing as how he's a lefty with power in that stadium, on a team with a few major injury concerns at OF/DH.

My first thought was, "isn't he like 40?" but no he'll only be 34 this year.
