Anthony Mantha has agreed to a four-year contract with the Detroit Red Wings.
Detroit didn't disclose the financial terms of the deal, but Mantha's contract is reportedly worth $22.8 million, which translates to a $5.7 million cap hit. That's a decent jump from his previous two-year, $6.6 million deal. Mantha was a restricted free agent. He had 16 goals and 38 points in 43 games last season. If he's able to stay healthy next season and the NHL ends up playing a full 82 games, it wouldn't be surprising to see him reach the 50-point milestone for the first time.
