Could be good on the bottom pairing. He was decent with Tampa in the playoffs but playing on a team like Tampa can make alot of players look decent. At 1 million bucks even if he flops out of the gate you can put em on waivers and if he clears he won't count against the cap. No risk, maybe a little reward hopefully.

Other than Hedman and maybe the goalies, I think weíre built very similarly to Tampa.

I feel like Kerfoot is the next one out the door..

Looks like the d is pretty much set now unless they still plan making more trades:

    LD Reilly
    RD Brodie

    LD Muzzin
    RD Holl

    LD Dermott
    RD Bogosian

    LD Rosen
    RD Lehtonen

I purposely left Sandin off. As mentioned earlier, probably not a bad thing for him to spend another year in the AHL.

When did we get Rosen back?

Tbh that D is not that great when you see it laid out like that. Hopefully itís serviceable.
Feels like itís still missing a piece. Holl isnít too 4 material.

We got Rosen back at the trade deadline I think. If they could move out Kerfoot and upgrade on Holl that would be ideal.

Leafs sign Jimmy Vesey. 1 year 900,000k. Can be buried with no cap hit.

Lol. This guy+Bogosian? If this was a few years ago we would have thought we won the lottery.

Rumors out there that the Leafs are talking to Joe Thornton. Not sure where he would fit in at this point, but it doesn't hurt to add more depth.

    Hyman-Matthews-Nylander
    Robertson-Tavares-Marner
    Kerfoot-Thornton-Simmonds
    Mikheyev-Spezza-Vesey

    Anderson/Boyd/Engvall/Petan

Tavares, Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Thornton, Spezza, Robertson mix with the defense on the PP units?

Plenty of intrigue in how they work all these forwards.
