Trading Stafford is not a move this ****** organization makes. There is no way Quinn is thinking of trading away the franchise QB while his job is on the line. However, I would love to see Sheila step in and make that call. Tell Quinn to call JJ and see whats up. If he doesn't than that just goes to show you that he cares more about his job than he does the organization's future.

At this point you get a 3rd for Stafford. Why bother now? That ship sailed a few years ago. The only people that think Stafford has elite QB potential are anti-maskers & fanboys.

    - Chiefs trade Alex Smith to Redskins for CB Kendall Fuller, third-round pick
    - Bills trade Tyrod Taylor to Browns for a third-round pick
    - Jets trade Teddy Bridgewater to Saints for a third-round pick

All of the above are recent trades involving QBs. Say what you want about Stafford but he'd return more than just a 3rd round pick. Come on.

Are you foolish? Stafford being traded would be one of the biggest QB trades in memory. GM's that need a QB would be foaming at the mouth, he would get you at least a 1st and 2nd rounder in this day n age. Any non Lions fan at this point know that Stafford is a good QB on a **** team. The 49ers should call us. Imagine Stafford with that run game and young weapons. And something he's never had.. a Defense

I would just love to see Stafford on any team that's not the Lions at this point. I don't want to see a good QB waste his whole career. Stafford has another 5 good years

You could have had multiple 1sts at one point. Now you will not get a first. And I still think teams would offer a 3rd.

    I mean Flacco went for a 4th.

Its not like Stafford has a small contract, a great playoff record or is young like Bridgewater or Tyrod were when they were dealt.

If youre dealing a high pick for Stafford to be your franchise QB, youre saying: "Yes, this is the guy we need to take us all the way. This is the final piece. He's worth the big salary and the 1st round pick (and 2nd round pick? lol no)."

Maybe we can dupe Elway, but that's about it. We need to face the fact that Stafford is only average. He has a massive arm, one of the best the game has ever seen, but what else? He's inaccurate, can't read defenses, can't audible correctly. We're just so enamored with the fact that his arm is so strong and he actually embraced being a lion that we forgive all his shortcomings and blame everyone else.

None of those guys carry the contract Stafford does. You're not getting much in return.

    Stafford's contract is 13th for QB's now

Jacoby Brissett is taking up more cap space at QB.

The Lions get a 1st rounder easily from any team looking for a QB
