I think with the additions of Lindor and Carrasco, we won't be signing Springer or Bauer.

Maybe he deleted it quickly after hearing the rumor was false. It'd certainly fit the idea of RHB with good CF defense though.

If we sign someone like that, we should still have a good amount of money left to spend cuz he shouldn't cost much. He sucks offensively.

What exactly would a Kiermeier trade even look like? The guy is a good defender but so horrid offensively... With 2 years 25M left, why wouldn't you rather just get a Jake Marisnick who would give similar product for a fraction of the price.

Like JBJ would prob be cheaper than his contract and has more offensive upside

If Archie Bradley can only get a 1 year 6mil deal, I don't see why we can't get Hand for close to the same on a 2 year deal. Say, 2 years 15 mil-ish

Also watching SNY baseball night right now and I can see why Jim Duquette is, was, and always will be a horrible GM.

It really seems like he just hears a name and then throws a bunch of **** at the wall regardless of the amount the Mets have to give up or the fit and quality of the return. That’s how you end up trading Kazmir for Zambrano.
