3rd Basemen's talent erodes quicker than any other position, including catcher*. As per Metswon and his fancy stats he provides every off season.

With Morton out of the picture as a backup choice, it makes it even more imperative to go after Bauer. Iíd just sign McCann at this point as the catcher. And one more big signing or trade.

Why was Machado at 10/300 more appealing than Arenado at 6/199, to you?
If Trump can become president with no political background then I don't understand why I need a resumť

In these long term deals, the back end is always the bad part
We should have signed Machado, at least enjoy 4 years of prime age
    Iíll still take Arenado

I had a feeling that was going to be Clayís answer.

Overall body of work, consistency, attitude, and whatnot all play a factor. Arenado, Chapman, and Machado are probably the three best defensive third basemen in the game. Still, I think both Arenado and Machado are athletic enough to be fine well into their deals.

Committing 6 years to a 29 year old doesnít scare me - considering most players get 7/8 at that age and Iím sure Arenadoís defense ages well.

    I dunno.

My mistake about the order, and you do provide the stats.

Iím just looking forward to this years stats and charts, Iím just hoping that they are animated.

this year, I would rather have Lindor.

Heís younger, and you get more years in his prime.

FOC is going to mime them. That should be enough animation.
