I think Allan is going to be a top 20 spec soon enough so I would try not to give him up.

I want to see some blockbuster trades as much as the next guy but I think any trades are contingent upon free agent signings. As far as Snell goes, I would want to see Kiermaier come back in that deal, probably substituting Allan for Wolf and a 10-15 spec, maybe Vientos.

I would try to hold onto the top 10 specs of the organization as much as possible. The farm is very top heavy either way, though.

Seems a bit excessive

I like Snell a lot, but I also really like all the pieces proposed. One of Snell or Bauer is sufficient enough for a very good team

Okay ever have one of those dreams that seemed so real it kinda scared you a bit. I had one but in a good way. This was Mets open day line up batting order:

CF: Springer
2B: McNeil
1B: Smith
DH: Alonso
RF: Conforto
C :McCann
3B: Davis
LF: Nimmo
SS: Gimenez

I don't think that's a dream at all and more reality with the only offensive additions being Springer and McCann. The only dream part is the NL having the DH in 2021. It seems like we might get it in 2022 but unfortunately not in 2021 which sucks cause we probably need it more than any NL team.

I would simply not engage with TB in a trade scenario for Snell. Maybe just find out an asking price, then stop talking. He is owed only $39 mil for 3 years. That's a bargain for a potential CY candidate. His price will be extremely high.

Pay the money for Bauer so we can continue building on our sad minor league system that has been depleted recently.
