They could be, not because they have more money just that the Mets Brass believe Springer is only worth a contract worth 100-125 million.

I heard the Mets are not only looking to resign Lindor but Conforto also and that the Springer signing isn't going deter them from doing both.

Mets are interested in Kirby Yates besides Brad Hand.

I believe he would be the 1st left handed 3rd baseman.

Mattingly played a few games at 3B in a pinch when there were a bunch of injuries.

Yates is definitely another good piece to consider. Alex Colome is another one to consider.

Go to the settings tab and then when you click on it, click on "Edit Signature". Should be right there.

Yeah we'll see. I'm not sold they are going all hands on deck for Springer like they would have previous to the Lindor trade. If the money is similar, Springer should come here but that depends on how important money is to him. It just seems like Toronto has more financial space to make moves not being as close to the luxury tax.

Report from Kluber's workout was that he was throwing 88-90 mph.

Always thought he was around 92-94

A lot of guys come into spring building up arm strength so its not uncommon for their velocity to be down a tick or two. I am sure he will throw again. I don't see the Mets getting him though because someone is going to give him a larger base salary with more incentives. The Mets and Padres can't be the only two teams that make moves this offseason.

Kluber will have to reinvent himself

Yates is interesting, and more likely to consider a role vs. closing because he's coming off the injury.
