    Yeah, those two would be awesome adds. Unfortunately, they'll also cost a ton and likely start seeing their speed and defense (if not more) slip soon at their age. On the other hand, maybe there will be less competition to sign them due to COVID-19 related finance issues teams are facing.

    Plus, with Crawford still around and coming off a nice bounce back year, I doubt Zaidi splurges for any big time shortstop this off-season.

    I'm not really interested in Brantley regardless. I'd rather target a center fielder, all sorts of pitching, and a platoon partner for Longoria. Brantley would improve the team in all likelihood but he doesn't really move the needle enough to eat in to the playing time of Dickerson & Ruf.

    Yeah I wouldn't want to sign a 30-year old pitcher to a five-year deal. Especially one who's has a career of mixed results.
