I may look stupid but that seems really hard to do. I wonder the last team that did it?

(already as someone finds another team that did it this year lol)

The Cavs is true but I meant more like a good team though. A rotation that was truly 7 guys deep on a winning team. For example, the 2004 Pistons that won the title had 7 guys averaging 9.5 ppg or better. Close but not exactly. 2014 Hawks is a good one. 2002 Kings is always a personal favorite one.

He did list them.......first. You even quoted it so it wasn’t an edit.

Markieff Morris on Anthony Davis: "We got LeBron but I think he's the best player in the world. He does it on both ends and does it consistently every night."

“It’s about winning,” Stoudemire said. “You win, you’re going to get on national TV. Simple. In Phoenix, we won — Western Conference finals three, four years, playoffs every year. We won. If you don’t win, nobody really wants to see you.”

lol, I was thinking Pat Riley would come out after the series and say something like, I thought we did a good job on Bron, but that big fella over there, hes a problem. Would be such a boss move

You can definitely make the case for AD being the MVP of this run.

Meh, LeBron is the one putting AD in the position and exploitng the mismatch. Hes still the mvp , this year, even if AD does get the finals mvp award.

Its just LeBron making the smart basketball move honestly. Exactly what makes him so great.

LeBron winning the Finals MVP would be best for LeBron's career.
AD winning the Finals MVP would be best for the Lakers.

But unless AD massively outperforms LeBron in the Finals, the narrative behind LeBron winning it is too strong. Also, there aren't a ton of voters who decide the Finals MVP and most are probably going to vote for LeBron because of said, narrative.

    +1

I'd be shocked if they actually gave it to him though.

LeBron is the engine that makes the Lakers run. He puts AD in position to put up on par stats. The fact LeBron has superior raw numbers while making it easier for AD to get his numbers is reason enough to say LeBron is currently FMVP (or at least postseason MVP). Maybe LeBron starts struggling and AD goes nuts on Bam, then this could change.

Also, I don't know why Bam wasn't initially put on AD. F--k Howard, they need Bam on AD.

At this point, when the Lakers win game 2, they could realistically sit LeBron out for game 3 for maintenance and they could still come out with a win.

Nah lmao, if no LeBron we would sweep. No AD I’ll give it 5 because LeBron is the 2nd best player ever.

LeBron is the QB of the team AND has also been very good defensively all season.
