Yankees choose Mike Ford over Miguel Andujar for wild-card roster spot

Yankees choose Mike Ford over Miguel Andujar for wild-card roster spot
    By Dan Martin September 29, 2020 | 12:18pm

Mike Ford is on the Yankees’ postseason roster, but Miguel Andujar is not.

The Yankees included 13 pitchers, including Jordan Montgomery, who will likely pitch out of the bullpen, as well as Deivi Garcia. The 21-year-old Garcia is also a likely candidate to pitch in relief if J.A. Happ starts a potential Game 3, following Gerrit Cole and Masahiro Tanaka in the first two games of the series.

    I’m
Sure it will be some BS lefty bat comment.

The reason I call BS? Because when Questioned about lefty bats in early 2020, bot Boone anc cashman commented that they didn’t buy into that and that the righties hit both lefty and righty pitchers equally

    So friggin stupid.
Leave the guy who makes contact and can run off the roster for a lefty bat that can barely play one position

He may be only able to play one position but he is still better defensively at that one position than andujar is at any position

As a hitter, Mike Ford is pretty useless. If he's not on the roster as a lefty bat off the bench, then why is he there?
