Why you cant just bring him up in the playoffs and say ok go get them

Kid needed a couple games/innings under his belt

His wildness is probably why he stayed down so long

I love the people who have had nothing to say all day during a 10-1 victory but pop in to **** on a kid making his major league debut. Those aren't cubs fans. Those are trolls. The difference isn't hard to spot.

Only reason I even tuned in was to see him potentially pitch because all everyone has been talking about is how a kid that hasnt even reached AA in the minors should be anchoring the bullpen.

He looks like Chatwood. Throws hard but can't locate if his life depended on it. There's a reason why he was still in A ball.

Find me one post where anyone said he should be anchoring the bullpen. His control issues aren't a secret to anybody. Most of us still like his potential more then a guy like Winkler.

Theres no such thing as a Cubs pitching prospect. Also was dumb to wait until the last game to call him up if they wanted him on the postseason roster, but with this outing im sure that ship has sailed.

    The cards have that tiebreaker.

Cardinals win, clinch #5 spot. Cubs vs Marlins in WC Series.

Phillies lost, so they’re eliminated. Giants losing in the 8th so if they lose, Brewers get #8 seed

    2016 World Series Champions!!!

Welp, probably not the ideal debut for Marquez. It's too bad we even had to count on him. If only we had ownership that was willing to spend even 5 million on putting together an actual bullpen.
