Seriously though. This is the worst strike zone I've seen all year. Such bad luck to draw this piece of **** as our home plate umpire today.

Gausman in to hold the one run deficit in the 9th.

Called it right before it happened "called third strike on a pitch 3-4 inches out of the zone".

Giants obviously need to address the bullpen. This might've been worse than 2016.

The bullpen or the end to the season? I agree with the former.

Rotation needs major addressing as well, especially with Gausman & Smyly being free agents.

Speaking of, I wonder what the market and price range will be for those two. I could see Gausman at maybe 3/$40MM and Smyly at 2/$18MM or something.

Not so sure Zaidi would jump at either if so.

I'd take both at those deals. They are cheap enough for a contender to want and they're both quality pitchers with good K numbers.

I think my biggest worry about this season is that we didn't really identify any pitchers that could be mainstays in the rotation for the future. We didn't really give any young players a chance, except Webb who mostly disappointed.
