Jason Bay stated nothing was wrong with him. Yet he went from a hitter who it to both center and one of the sides (I can't remember now which side) to a complete pull hitter to one side only. Once that happened he sucked.

Ike Davis was doing bad. Keith Hernandez did a video showing what he was doing wrong. Ike never listened.

Back in the old days, hitters listened to their coaches. I remember Tony Gwynn would watch videos of his at bats to see what he did wrong. I guess these days players just don't want to hear anything negative.

I know you have to respect every hitter, but a 3-2 nibbling curve to a 1/18 hitter is infuriating to watch.

Mets have been unusually selective at the plate tonight. Good to see.

You see the difference between these two teams over the series thus far. Mets have more firepower and have matched the Rays for pitching in a short sample. But Rays run the bases better and play impeccable defense, two areas where the Mets are sorely deficient.

Thanks Mets of reminding me how much I absolutely loathe Todd Frazier. Embarrassing ABs and really not that great a defender. Hey, at least he made that one. Whoopdie freaking doo.

I wouldn't mind if I never saw Justin Wilson again either. Sucks.

Boy, how many times do you see that. Missed strike 3 call, next pitch HR. Usually it happens AGAINST us, lol.
