If JD Davis canít hit consistently, he is of no use to the Mets. He is a liability at any defensive position and the team needs to do a better job of not completely discounting defense. He and Rosario should be trade bait in the offseason.

Is Ramos just terrible at framing or is Jake getting squeezed or both? Several pitches that seem like they should have been strikes.

Also why the **** is Jake dancing around the strike zone against these interstate hitters at the bottom of the lineup after just blow guys away at the top of the lineup?!

Maybe if Vanover pushed himself away from the buffet table and had a salad now and then, he could get low enough behind the plate to recognize a strike. Hey Larry, quit grandstanding... nobody watches the game to see your fat ***.

This is one of the two best teams in the ML. You see how far behind the Mets are comparatively. No Cy Young for Jake this year it appears.

If Ramos were a wide receiver, his nickname would be Slab Hands.

Just another ho hum 14 strikeouts for deGrom. This team better get some pitching this offseason and stop wasting his prime.

He still might. He's tied for the best fWAR and he has the 2nd best FIP in the majors.

Degrom has got to be going crazy. 14 strikeouts and potentially another loss. If Cohen does nit get some more hitters a starter and relief, his chance of winning a WS with this bunch is shrinking. I will bet if things do nit change he opts ointment to get a chance to win more and get dee into post season.

He had a shot but lack of wins and some bad games cost him in short season.

Mets have scored once in last 17 innings. Not play of a playoff caliber team.
