Metlife Stadium is kind of a dump

I mean at least when you compare it to other stadiums that have opened in the last 10 years and given the cost of the project (1.6 billion). Especially when you consider it cost less money for Jerry Jones to build AT&T stadium (1.3 billion) and its light years nicer than Metlife.

This isn't the first time teams have complained about the field conditions either.

These construction unions in NY and NJ have a nice racket going though. Build substandard stadiums for top dollar asking prices.

And its look like a aluminum trash can from the outside. The whole aesthetic is awful. Couple that with the fact that East Rutherford is a sight for sore eyes.

Its a shame. The Jets and Giants deserve nicer digs.

    Blame MSG.

If not for them fighting against it, the Jets would have had a new upscale state-of-the-art location built in Manhattan.

    That would’ve been very cool.

Do they? They are both playing like garbage so it's apropos that the stadium look like a trash can.

I don't have an issue with it. My seats are pretty good and I have the concession right down the stairs. Plus the Korean BBQ stand is pretty effen good.

Big mistake by Woody. should have built his own stadium. You build a good team fans will come no matter where it is. no need to share a stadium. give your team something they can call their home. right now it feels like its sharing an apartment and the lease is under the giants name.

Wasn’t his choice, he wanted to build in NYC

it was his choice. so you dont get your spot in Manhattan. Could have built right next to Citi field. there were plenty of areas. it was cost effective to split the cost and double dip on same seats.

That is 100% true but its about the fan experience as well. On that front, Metlife stadium fails miserably. Just awful in comparison to other modern venues.
