    2020 NL Wild Card race

Well, guys. It's all coming down to these last 11 days of the season. Figured I'd start a thread where we can keep track of who is going to grab the two NL Wild Card spots.

Here are the current standings (as of 9/17):

Schedule left for the teams realistically in contention for those two spots are:

Marlins (currently 2nd in NL East): 1 vs. BOS, 5 vs. WAS, 4 @ ATL, 3 @ NYY (12 total, 6 at home)
Phillies (currently tied for WC lead): 1 vs. NYM, 4 vs. TOR, 4 @ WAS, 3 @ TB (12 total, 5 at home)
Giants (currently tied for WC lead): 1 vs. SEA, 3 @ OAK, 4 vs. COL, 4 vs. SD (12 total, 9 at home)
Reds (currently 2nd in NL Central): 3 vs. CHW, 3 vs. MIL, and 3 @ MIN (9 total, 6 at home)
    Cardinals: 5 @ PIT, 3 @ KC, 5 vs. MIL (13 total, 5 at home)
    Brewers: 3 vs. KC, 3 @ CIN, 5 @ STL (11 total, 3 at home)
    Rockies: 4 vs. LAD, 4 @ SF, 4 @ AZ (12 total, 4 at home)
    Mets: 1 @ PHI, 3 vs. ATL, 3 vs. TB, 4 @ WAS (11 total, 6 at home)

Things that stand out to me:

-Giants have the most home games left but also have to play 7 games vs. the A's and the Padres

-Cardinals have 13 games in 11 days (more than anyone on this list) and only 5 of those games are at home but their opponents are probably the weakest of this bunch

-Brewers only have 3 home games remaining and 8 games vs. the Reds and Cardinals

-Reds have the least games left (9) but 6 of them are vs. AL Central powerhouse lineups in the White Sox and Twins

Should be an interesting sprint to the finish.

I was curious myself about all this and figured while I was peepin' game, I may as well type it out as a handy reference for everyone else.

Nado might miss upcoming 4 game series.

This is obviously a must-sweep. 3/4 not good enough.

Needed win tonight. Three way tie for the 8 seed between Reds, Brewers, and Giants.

Three way tie for 7th seed actually but tiebreaker order goes Reds, Brewers, Giants (as of now) which leaves the Giants on the outside looking in.

Reds got 1 game vs. MIL and 3 games @ MIN left. Brewers have 1 game @ CIN and 5 @ STL left.

Hopefully the Cardinals really serve the Brewers in their last home series of the year.

Another much needed win tonight. Nice performances by Dickerson, Belt, and Dubon (as well as the pitching staff).

Giants now alone in the 7th seed and up by a full game on the Brewers and the Phillies.
