Nash played at 195-200 and Young plays at 175-180. Trae is 61 in shoes, Nash was 63 not in shoes.

Why does that matter? Young is a liability defensively and will always be due to size. If he learns to play passing lanes and angles like AI he can become better but hes always going to have that issue.

Saying athletic is somewhat subjective especially since no combine numbers for Nash exist and Young didnt do much more than get measured at his combine. So no lane agility test, baseline to baseline, standing jump, verticals to compare.

    Rondo 6'1
    Pat Bev 6'1
    Chris Paul 6'1

They each made all-nba defensive teams. If you think Trae Young doesn't have the motor that's fine but to just say "too small" is weak. He can add muscle and is the same height as the players above.

Been up close to him, hes barely taller than me and Im either 5"11 or 5"10 3/4. Really made me feel like a failure for not being in the NBA with my elite court vision.

I would say the players with the best futures would be, Giannis, Luka, Zion, and Tatum. That's only four players, but I think someone who hasn't been drafted yet would be the other player who will complete the list. Great players come into the league every year, so we'll certainly get another league-altering player drafted in the next 1-3 years.

But also, keep in mind that some of the guys today will still be around in 5 years. Kawhi will be 34, AD will be 32, they'll still be great players. Lebron might even still be great.

when you say few, im thinking like 3. Lebron is going to play at least until he breaks the scoring... I think he will remain in the top 5 until then.
    YOU JUST MADE THE LIST!!!!!

    HAPPY RUSSEV DAY!!!
