He was wide open when he caught the ball, at that point it was tunnel vision. The Jokic close out didn’t effect him at all.

Don't take your anger out on me because your team lost, LOL.

Milsap is the better defender than Joker and would be more versatile if there was a switch.

Nonetheless he did as good a job defending as one could have hoped. Plumlee was the direct cause of that loss. He wasn't even screened he ran behind a phantom pick. Watching it someone could start all types of conspiracy theories on him throwing the game on purpose, that's how cringe worthy it was.

Lol I ain’t gonna lie I was heated with Plumlee. But Jokic realistically should of been the third person in line to contest that shot. Plumlee is the first. Grant would be the second. Jokic literally is just being as big as possible tracing the ball making it more difficult to throw it in.

Obviously the one that should of been subbed is Plumlee now but Jokics only job was to make it hard to throw it in. He was acting like he was on a penalty kill lol

Definitely some confusion at the end. Grant and Plumlee we’re talking to each other before the play and I guess misunderstood each other because Plumlee definitely thought they were supposed to switch, LeBron saw Plumlee coming and instantly screened Grant forcing neither of them to be able to get out. Greet play by LeBron honestly, screen the switch/help.

The more I think about it I also blame Malone. With 2 seconds left you're supposed to have your highest IQ and most vocal defenders in the game.

Plumlee is a horrible match on AD unless you're defending a lob. Milsap should have been in on him.

Not to mention Plumlee made the same blunder against the same team, on the same play, in the same situation 6 weeks ago.

I would’ve even had Bol Bol in there guarding the inbounder over Jokic, probably millsap in for Plumlee

IDK about that. Didn't seem to work for Boston putting Tacko in to guard the inbound pass against Toronto in Game 3.

Just bad coaching and horrible defense by Plumlee.

this is why rings are meaningless and people that try to argue rings for a player are moronic... AD is about to get a ring when jokic has done so much more with less..... the rings argument is so stupid its insane.

This is just false and if LeBron had 7 rings you would argue they’re the most important thing.
