San Francisco Giants @ Seattle Mariners - September 15-16

    .........................

SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS (23-24) @ SEATTLE MARINERS (22-26)

    T-MOBILE PARK

    Game 1: Tuesday, September 15th @ 6:40 PM

    VS.
    Tyler Anderson..........Ljay Newsome

    Scouting Report:
Giants: Anderson faced the Mariners in his last start on Wednesday at Oracle Park and tossed six scoreless innings to earn his first win since Aug. 22.

Mariners: The 23-year-old took a Brandon Crawford 100 mph line drive off his right wrist and had to come out after just 1 1/3 innings against the Giants on Tuesday. He'll face the same team again now in his third MLB start since replacing the traded Taijuan Walker.

    Game 2: Wednesday, September 16th @ 6:40 PM

    VS.
    Drew Smyly......Nick Margevicius

    Scouting Report:
Giants: Smyly will return to the rotation after striking out eight over four innings in relief vs. the Padres on Thursday. He was one of SF's best starters before missing six weeks with a finger injury.

Mariners: Margevicius gave up seven runs on six hits and three walks in 4 2/3 innings in his last outing in San Francisco, his first rough start since moving into the rotation on Aug. 8. He gets another shot at the Giants in Seattle.

It's official now. Games to take place in SF on Wednesday and Thursday. This means Giants have no more off days this season and will play 13 games in 12 days to close things out. I'm liking their playoff chances less and less.

Anyone heard any updates on Gausman?

Regardless of what happens between now and the end of the season, the Giants have had a quality and entertaining season so far (which is as much as I could have hoped for).

    Nice high scoring win tonight.

Cheers to that broham! 🍻 A strong comeback win and timely hit after hit. Watching their bats be so lively this year has been one helluva surprise. No matter what happens, I hope they keep entertaining us and smacking that baseball around hardcore!
