Cubs swept the Indians in Cleveland pretty easily back in August, 7-1 and 7-2 with Lester and Hendricks on the mound.
That was part of their 13 - 3 start

Theyve been up and down since, hopefully they continue to ride the last 2 games with the comeback and no hitter and play well enough to win these games.

    Go Cubs

People like Dan McNeil are why when I did live in the area, the Score was never a station I would turn on.

Stopped listening to the Score years ago

They all liked listening to themselves talk and guys like North would start BS just to get call ins and then hang up on them in mid sentence.

Mr. I'm just a cubs fan, never been in a locker room Mike Murphy and all he did was complain about the team and Mcphail, FAIL
    He was annoying

Now they have a bunch whiners who are full of themselves like Haugh

Yep. I totally get that. I donít live in the area, but I have an app downloaded so I can listen if Theo is on, or something like that.

Yeah I donít listen to him, but Iím not surprised. He was fired because he made comments about ESPNís Maria Taylor wardrobe yesterday evening during one of the Monday Night Football telecasts, saying she dresses like a porn star award show host to attract viewers to ESPN or something like that.

Heís been fired many times for stupid comments and yet keeps finding work. Iím sure he will latch on somewhere else soon enough.

Chatwood probably done for the year
If I'm him, why risk further damage now, in a FA year

That sucks. He had potential to atleast still be a good bullpen weapon in a bullpen that desperately needs more weapons.

Yeah, if anybody was going to be this year's Charlie Morton/Nate Eovaldi, I thought it would be Chatwood. Sucks for the Cubs, probably in Tyler's best interests to take the rest of the year off.

So at what point do we start to get optimistic about Jason Adam?

I guess now. Heís been really good in a SSS. He threw 21 innings for the Jays last year. His K rate was no where close to what it is this year (7.48 K/9 compared to 16.39 K/9 this year), ERA was good but his xFIP was an eye catching 6.20 last year. Much better this year at a 2.51. Heís even been a little unlucky on balls in play. He definitely deserves a continued look. I think thereís enough there that he could become a guy. And this is only his 3rd major league season although heís 29 years old, so... not sure if that means anything. He was a starter early on and has never really been good or anything more than a guy with good stuff. Maybe our lab unlocked something with him, maybe not. He still has pitched well enough to stay up and see what he has.
