Let's just hope Jordan Jenkins does more than his 1 assisted tackle.
I guess QW was 3x better than him, if all you believe in is stats.

Nope. I believe the trade we truly missed out on was the DeAndre Hopkins trade.

QW was the #3 pick in the draft.
    Fatukasi did more.

No, but I would trade for Allen Robinson. Not a 1st, but something.

    That makes sense to me.

    Fatukasi plays a different position.

Jordan Jenkins is the primary edgerusher (a feature position) and he did nothing.
Basham and Hewitt did more than Jenkins.

In fact, nearly everyone that played on defense contributed more then Jenkins.

How silly are people on here.

No, we shouldn't trade for Ngakoue because he can be a FA after the year.
    That was your excuse.

But yes, we should trade for Allen Robinson, even though he can be a FA after the year.
    Talk about flip-flopping.

I bet Ngakoue would have produced more than Jordan Jenkins did last game.

Yeah, if you assume TL and Fields go 1-2, you have to figure we’ll be at worst 4, which would give us chase or rousseau

Deflecting I see, we are talking about QW and you bring up Jenkins. QW had a roughing the passer also. He was invisible outside of the penalty.

You think he had a good game.

Ok lets talk about QW and Jenkins.

1 plays a premium position mainly used for making plays and getting to the QB.
The other plays a position primarily used to clog lanes (especially in the 3-4 defense), so the LBs can close on the ball.

QW had a decent game especially in clogging rushing lanes (sans QB).
As far as rushing the passer goes, he would benefit from some outside pressure which is supposed to be supplied by....

Jordan Jenkins was the invisible man.
Zero passrush from a feature passrushing position.
Game total = 1 assisted tackle. That's it.

From what I saw QW outperformed Jenkins.
I doubt anyone even noticed Jenkins on the field?
But of course, you act like Jenkins had a great game.

So go ahead and deflect from that.

    SF 49ers @ NY Jets: Week 2

QW nor Jenkins were effective on Sunday, and both graded poorly (like most of the team did).

Maye performed like a pro-bowler and looked like Adams on the field. Other than that, Austin and Fatukasi played excellent run D.

On the offensive side, our Top 5 graded players were Alex Lewis, Becton, Bell, Crowder, and Van Roten.

Fant and especially McGovern were awful. McGovern in particular being a turnstile up the middle could be partially to blame for Darnold’s struggles and being constantly flushed from the pocket.

There were 2 drops by WRs, one by Crowder and one by Hogan. Hogan starting on the outside is an absolute travesty. Need Mims back ASAP or JD needs to make a trade for someone like Robinson. Perriman didn’t have a good debut, but considering he missed so much time and no preseason, it’s not surprising.
