#Giants QB Daniel Jones underwent tests on his hamstring today and sources say he did avoid major injury. He has an outside chance at playing Sunday, though they’ll know more if he’s able to get on the field and test it in a few days. NYG will have plans with Jones & without him.

I don't think he's a bust. I think he just needs the right motivation to pick himself up & play harder.

Colt McCoy is terrible so I hope DJ can give it a go. Hamstring injuries are brutal though. It’ll linger the rest of the season and if he’s no longer a run threat on options, a big piece of the offense is missing.

Giants adding another QB into mix as they sort through position with Daniel Jones in question for Sunday.

I’m told Joe Webb started the entry process today. Alex Tanney began his testing yesterday.

NYG covering as many bases as possible with options to not get left short handed.

Sounds like QB/WR/ST Joe Webb cleared testing protocols and will sign with the practice squad as expected on Tuesday.

    Giants transactions:

    • Signed DE Niko Lalos to 53-man roster. He has a takeaway in 100% of his NFL games.

    • Waived OLB Trent Harris

    • Signed veteran QB/WR/special teamer to practice squad. A Swiss-Army knife of depth

    • Cut TE Nakia Griffin-Stewart from the practice squad

Four practice squad protections this week: QB Clayton Thorson, WR Binjimen Victor, CB Quincy Wilson and LS Carson Tinker.

Haason Reddick is earning himself a Giant (s?) contract this offseason. 3 sacks already?

Giants Statement: Offensive Coordinator Jason Garrett has tested positive for COVID-19. He will continue to work remotely.

Tight ends coach Freddie Kitchens will serve as the team’s offensive play caller on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.

We are currently working with the league’s chief medical officer regarding close contacts. Because of the league’s most updated protocols, Giants coaches and players did not meet on either Monday or Tuesday, and the majority of the coaching staff worked remotely.

At this point, there appear to be no high risk close contacts. We are awaiting confirmation from the league.

Out of an abundance of caution, the Giants will meet remotely and will not practice today.

The #Giants are placing CB James Bradberry on the reserve/COVID-19 list, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. One of the top corners in the league this year will miss Sunday’s game against the #Browns.

A 53 man roster Dallas player has also tested positive for covid. Not sure how many of them will miss the game(with the close contact stuff)
