Exactly. Same as how the Heat were nothing before Jimmy got there. Jimmy plays hurt too. You’ll never see him in a wheelchair for a shoulder injury.

Process failure. Not a total failure, but a failure nonetheless. I'd give it a 2.5 stars out of 5. The Process was not to simply get an all-star or superstar through the draft. Do not let anyone lie to you.

The Process was to build a team that would have sustained, deep playoff runs year after year. To that end they've failed because I don't believe they gained the talent to ensure that will happen.

They succeeded in getting all-star players who will give them a high chance at a playoff appearance if healthy and their rebuild was only 5 years of horrible play. That's a much better management strategy than a team like the Kings, and that's worth something. So I give them half credit for doing a decent rebuild.

I wouldn’t go that far. He’s exactly what the Heat needed though considering they could barely even make the playoffs for the last several years. They just needed all those horrible contracts that Pat Riley gave out to go away.

Just thankful to cheer for such an elite organization that has so much recent success

all of what you said was accomplished though. cant help what happened after everything was perfectly in place for the next 2 GMs to **** up. The Kings havent made the playoffs in how long?

But it's also hard to knock them when they lost Ben Simmons. He's their 2nd best player. 16ppg / 8apg / 8rpg / 2spg on 58% shooting with elite defense is pretty important to your squad. Their two best players are young all-stars signed long-term. Maybe it's my Knicks glasses I got on but I'm so jealous. They are going to be good for a while with potential for more.

/Process Complete: success or failure- What say u

Maybe they shouldn’t have taken two PGs with no jump shot # 1 overall

Butler was a huge loss. Keeping Ben Simmons around will wind up being a miss managed asset as well. It’s a shame. Last years team would won the East this year

They would’ve won the championship imo.

they have the 2 pieces in place. Even if they trade Simmons, it nets them high value. Colangelo was a mistake, as was Brand.

    Overall, 7.5/10 as a rating I guess

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.
