One way or another they are going to find our S this year, that's for sure.

    Per Dane Bruglers Draft Guide:

Rangy player once he sees it, taking aggressive angles to the football…understands field leverage and flies to the edges to shut down perimeter runs…settles his feet and drops his pads into ball carriers, creating stopping power as a tackler…good-sized safety who will stroke ball carriers across the middle of the field…good timing on his hits, both in coverage and against the run, creating fumble opportunities…operates under control in coverage with adequate foot quickness in his pedal-and-drive mechanics…three-year starter in the SEC and experienced as a gunner on punt coverage.

Tyree Gillespie is my SAF10. Great athlete with size who plays downhill and can tackle/read the QB well. Not much of a playmaker and can be late adjusting to receivers. Big upside with special teams ability added in for the #Raiders #NFLDraft #HallamAnalysis

One of my favorite safeties to evaluate the past two seasons, congratulations to @PutReekIn on being drafted by the @Raiders in the 4th round of the #NFLDraft2021!

Another pick that makes Kiper and analysts happy for the spot and value.

We’re gonna have a good special teams unit with all these 3rd and 4th round picks we’ve spent on it the past two seasons.

Field position does help your defense.

The @Raiders giving Gus Bradley some tools to work with. Also, relative to doubling up on safety, just remember the name Ron Milus. He's expected to have a huge impact on that secondary. Guys better be prepared to compete.

Tyree Gillespie spent half the Florida game covering Kyle Pitts and gave up one catch for 8 yards.

He stopped Najee on the goal line, had a PBU against Devonta, and a TFL on Waddle all in one drive.

He only gave up 7 catches all year.

Find me another safety with that resume.
