annnd the more I think about it, how washed up is AP really? I mean, he had over 1,000 yards rushing 2 years ago and then just last year he had about 900 yards rushing on an atrocious Washington team. Averaging over 4 yards per carry both seasons.

Different schemes, different personnel. Means absolutely nothing. If he dares rush for 100 in a game, he'll get 2 carries in the next one.

depth charts just don't matter these days. If the number 4 running back is getting the same amount of touches as the number 1 back there won't be an issue...the issue will be when swift is only getting 5 touches a game.

The thing is, he's only efficient when he gets high volume of touches, which is the same issue they had with Blount. If AP is getting the volume he needs, one of Kerryon or Swift isn't seeing the field. And considering AP can't catch footballs, and he can't run from the shotgun, he'll have to take all of his carries under center and be very obvious doing it...just like Blount.
