No other way to put it than what an absolutely awful pitch.

2 strike hits... the Met pitchers major in them.

Castroís trying to make sure the Mets have no chance. Not sure why the Mets FO loves pitchers with nothing but velocity.

The thought occurs to me that there are just too many major league teams for the amount of talent available. Thatís why the average players of the past seem so much better and the stars of today seem so much better. The latter get to face a lot of crap pitchers, an advantage that the stars of the past didnít necessarily have.

More like the story of this organization. Great comeback wasted. Chance in bottom if ninth can nit get it done. Twice with two outs Philís get late clutch hit.
The Philís gave the Mets every opportunity and like usual they can nit seal it. Comeback worthless, have a chance to get 3-1 in series may become 2-2 which is a waste.

I have never seen such bad Mets pitching and no thinking of where to try and place pitches.
Next year they need better late inning relief. Plus no more fami,is. That ship has sailed.

Seriously. Free agents, trades and home grown RPs all fail for the Mets. They canít ever seem to get it right.

So, why is Castro suddenly so high on the totem pole here? He hasn't earned a thing.
