    Mets vs Phils

Tomorrow is a must-win against these Phils especially. Gotta knock them back to us more.

Beating the Phils when Wheeler started was huge. Much more confident getting runs against Nola.

Lugo needs to be at his best tomorrow. You wanted to be a starter ó now we need you to throw a gem.

Rockies and Brewers both lost tonight so weíre 1/2 games behind them. Still 2 games behind the Reds (who won tonight) and Cardinals as well and 2.5 behind the Phillies and Giants (who will probably win tonight) for the 1st and 2nd Wild Card Spots.

Mets need to go 9-2 to likely make the playoffs and with a few games against the rays and Braves I do t see it.

I think 8-3 can get it done. Gotta win tomorrow and then itís 7-3. 30-30 makes the playoffs IMO, there will likely be multiple tiebreakers.

Take 2/3 from the Braves and Rays and then 3/4 from the Nationals. If we can get a sweep in there, the task becomes easier.

They need to beat Nola tonight. If so, they are 1.5 behind the Phillies with 10 to play, and 7-3 would get them to .500 & might be enough.

If they lose tonight, they are 3.5 behind the Phils with only 10 to play and other teams in between for the last playoff spot. In that case, I do not see it happening.

Itís a shame Sandy didnít offer Murphy such a cheap contract and then instead, Murphy proceeded to kill the Mets for a few years.

Agreed. But still a major reason. Still a horrendous trade that will most likely cost Brodie his job

Tight zone for both pitchers tonight.

Way to give it right back, Seth.
