its a bit tough to break through, there are quite a lot of good defensive big men to choose from.

Simmons made it with the second most first team votes. Yet he had the third most points because of a lack of 2nd team votes. Strikes me as so strange that there would be such a divide in that voting.

Another Heat snub with Jimmy being left out.

    Everyone on the second team.

I think the defensive teams always overvalue stars who just play defense and not defensive specialists who play elite defense on everypossession

I'm a little surprised Westbrook made third team, but he did carry the Rockets for a stretch and played some good basketball the last couple of months pre-pandemic. I would have given it to Beal or Young.

Whoever gave 3rd team votes to Harden and Doncic, as well as a 1st team vote to Gobert, should have their voting privileges revoked

The First team honestly should have been unanimous

I need to see who voted for who where, that can make all the difference. Zach Lowe said he would go bron harden at guard, kawhi-gianiss at forward and ad. I'm guessing that's where some guys mightve gotten screwed idk

Butler should've been 2nd team over spicy p, Tatum too. Rwb got the veteran nod

I do not buy for one second that Siakam is a top 10 player in the league, nor the 4th best Forward in the league.

But you know that's not what these awards are right? They are saying for 60 games he was the 4th best forward as he helped lead the raptors to the #2 seed during the regular season.
