    We going to the playoffs!

MLB October baseball in Buffalo would be very 2020ish.

"This is something we want to make an every-year thing,'' infielder Cavan Biggio said. "For us, we're happy, we're excited we're able to put ourselves in this position, but this is only the start of hopefully something special for a long time."

Congrads on making playoffs. I haven't been following the team this summer. Like to watch a few games in playoffs though

    RF Teoscar
    1B Tellez
    DH Vladdy Jr
    LF Gurriel

Yeah that's what I'd like to see as well if indeed he's not ready. I just read that he may miss the entire first round.

Edit: Maybe swap Kirk and Panik for speed and to put a little more distance between the lefties.

pretty decent times for a Jays/Rays game to be honest. I was expecting 1pm games all the way lol

I'm surprised it wasn't posted here....

Shoe gm1 most likely followed by Ray and then maybe Pearson (my take)
    Ryu gm2
    Walker gm3

I really hope this works out

Montoyo's justification is he'll have his ace in a clinching/elimination game. I'd rather just throw him out there and attempt to get the 1-0 lead. I'd rather he used Walker over Shoe but we'll see if it works out. I think you're onto something hanton with the plan being to use both Shoe and Ray today. Pearson I'm not so sure. He's only pitched once since he's come back, right?

Ryu needs the extra day to be at 100%. I agree with this move 1000%. The bullpen is rested, full of guys who throw smoke and Shoe is 4-0 in 7 starts with an ERA around 2.70 against the Rays. With guys like Ray, Borucki, Dolis and Pearson in the bullpen Shoe really only needs to throw 3 innings.

The strength of this staff all season has been the bullpen. Montoyo is going to lean on it...as he should. You lean hard in games 1 and 3 (if needed) and hope Ryu can throw the bulk of game 2.

TB is full of lefties. Shoe has held lefties to a BA around .200 and Walker has gotten pounded by them this year. That is why Shoe is pitching game 1 and not Walker. Makes total sense to me. I don't know if I would even give him the ball in game 3 for more than one time through the lineup with his splits. It just isnt a good match up for him.

Didnít even look at the splits but that explains a lot.

I dont mind starting Shoemaker first since (with Ray after) it's a hard win against Snell anyway but it just seems risky given its a 3 game.
