With 5 games in 3 days, we can probably expect to see a handful of funky lineups in the next couple of days. This should both be a pain (getting both Phegley and Almora, for example) and be a boon (the Cardinals will have to play their bad players too).

I'm not a fan of a all RH lineup against a lefty..

I like to see at least 2 or 3 Lefties, so the SP doesn't get too comfortable hitting the same spots over and over. Make them have to work both sides of plate a couple times through the order.

As for today game, this guy Kim is going to be like Rea was the other day and will probably only go 3 innings and may only face some of these guys once anyways.
So, Cards put a Righty in afterwards, now they have all these righties who cant hit RHers and if he switches them out, then you got squat on the bench if needed late

Tigers calling up top pitching prospects. And their pitching prospects are pretty legit.

Lineup is fine as long as Happ and Heyward replace Phegley and Almora or Souza once STL goes to a righty.

Cubs should miss Skubal next week, but they should see Mize.

I'm good with it. They're playing 5 games in the next 3 days. Pretty much everyone will need to get some playing time over the series. If they need to switch out to LHH i'd rather do it mid-game than late in the game. It's harder to get runs later in the game if behind, plus no need to pinch hit for pitchers.

It is what it is. The good thing is the Cards are in the same boat. I'm glad Souza is at least hitting a bit now.
