We are more talented than Utah but Utah is a bad matchup for Denver. Last year I picked the Spurs based off experience. This year could be the same just based off matchup

I feel Denver is a more cohesive unit than Utah. Nuggets players actually have good chemistry and like each other. Jazz top 2 players Mitchell and Gobert hate each other cuz of the Rona.

Is that still true tho? I've seen them laughing on the court but IDK if that means anything, has either player spoken on how they endured the virus? Given their youth and physical acumen, its possible they were asymptomatic and didnt feel ****, I know of a few in my fam and job that didn't even know they had it until they were tested. Maybe it was an in the moment thing when we thought this virus was going to kill everyone and their dog, Gobert did apologize but having gone through it, maybe they're not so mad anymore. I think it would depend on how it affected their life off the court, I hope they both had a relatively easy go of it.

If Utah would have Bojan available, I would give them the edge, but with him injured it's Denver.

There will be a qualifying game between the Blazers and the Grizzlies which will decide the 8th seed for the Western conference and has been set for tomorrow, if the Blazers win they advance to the playoffs, if the Grizzlies win, there will be a 2nd game between the two teams set to take place 26 hours later, which the Grizzlies have also to win if they are to qualify instead.

The matchings are:

WEST:

-Lakers vs. 8th (Blazers or Grizzlies)
-Clippers vs. Mavericks
-Nuggets vs. Jazz
-Thunder vs. Rockets

EAST:

-Bucks vs. Magic
-Raptors vs. Nets
-Celtics vs. 76ers
-Heat vs. Pacers

Games start on Monday with Nuggets vs. Jazz opening the 1st round followed by Raptors vs. Nets

I would have been tempted to go with a Mavs upset if they were going against anybody but the Clippers.

Current odds project the 2020 finals to be between either the Lakers and the Bucks or the Clippers and the Bucks. Portland is clearly projected to advance over the Grizzlies.
