I'm glad that Ross is so incapable of being unbias that he's going to start Lester out of turn just for the sake of his feelings. What a terrible decision, regardless of outcome.

Lester was scheduled to start next when they got shut down. This rotation skips Mills and allows them to get Darvish in both of the upcoming Brewers and Cardinals series. Id actually have gone Lester, Chatwood, Hendricks, Darvish, Mills to get both Hendricks and Yu in both the Brewers and cards series, but this seems ok to me.

Lester was the 4th starter out of the gate. Im not sure that worrying about his feelings was the issue here.

I'm just happy we are missing Bieber. There's a good chance he's the greatest pitcher of all time.

Speaking of Tatis.....I know people like to rip on the Q trade. But the Tatis for Shields trade is 100000x worse. That might actually be up there with one of the worst trades of all time.

Alex Cintron has done very similar in the past, against the Yankees. He seems like the type of person you dont want around because you dont know what sort of **** hed start up at the drop of a hat. Maybe he should know his place in baseball. He is only a hitting coach ffs.

The trade is certainly already on the shortlist. Imagine trading for a 34 year old in a year where youre not a contender and the player traded away turns out to be an emerging superstar at only 21. Holy ****

Here is one thing that Joe Maddon never thought to do.
