    (6-13) Redsox @ (12-6) Yankees

Game 1: Friday August 14th at 7:05 PM @ Yankee Stadium

    TBD:
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Gerrit Cole (3-0) (2.55 ERA)

Gerrit Cole struck out 10 but allowed three runs over 4 2/3 innings against the Rays on Saturday in the first game of a doubleheader.
Cole absolutely breezed through the first four innings, but ran into trouble in the fifth, and after allowing a two-run homer to Jose Martinez he was pulled in that frame. Unfortunately, that means that Cole isn't able to pick up his fourth win of the season. He did give fantasy players plenty of strikeouts, however, and his ERA is 3.22 despite the struggles in the fifth. Cole will face the Red Sox for the first time as a member of the Yankees on Friday.

Game 2: Saturday August 15th at 7:07 PM

    Nathan Eovaldi (1-1) (4.09 ERA)

Nathan Eovaldi logged a quality start in a no-decision against the Blue Jays on Sunday, punching out 10 over six innings of three-run ball.
The right-hander scattered six hits on the afternoon and didn't walk a batter. Most of the damage done against him came via the long ball, with Cavan Biggio crushing a solo homer in the third and Bo Bichette blasting a solo shot in the sixth. Eovaldi has shown some inconsistency through his first four starts, but the strikeout potential has been as advertised. He sports a 4.09 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 24/3 K/BB ratio over 22 1/3 innings on the season. He'll attempt to get back in the win column on Friday against the Yankees in New York.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    James Paxton (0-1) (7.84 ERA)

James Paxton went 6 1/3 innings while allowing three runs and striking out 11 in a no-decision against the Rays on Sunday.
Paxton allowed four hits -- two of them homers -- and he walked just one. After two poor starts to begin the season, the left-hander looked like the pitcher we've seen when healthy over the past few seasons, and had his swing-and-miss arsenal on point. Unfortunately, he ran out of steam in the seventh, and the two homers he allowed kept him from qualifying for the win. Still, a very encouraging effort from the 31-year-old after question marks rose after those first two appearances. The Red Sox are next for Paxton.

Game 3: Sunday August 16th at 7:08 PM

    J.A. Happ
Happ is returning to the rotation after being skipped. It Has been a struggle thus far for the veteran, who has allowed eight runs in seven innings to the Orioles and Phillies. He walked six batters in his last outing and said that he needs to be more aggressive in the strike zone against Boston

Game 4: Monday August 17th at 7:05 PM

    Martin Perez (2-1) (3.45 ERA)

This is going to be a tough 4 game series. My predictions

    GM 1: Loss

    GM 2: Win

GM 3: Loss because of TBD

GM 4: Toss up. I'll go with Win.

So 8-15 record. Pitching needs to be solid and BP needs to hold the lead, and hitters need to wake up!
