    Chicago White Sox (8-8) vs. Detroit Tigers (8-5) | 8/10 - 8/12

Chicago White Sox (8-8) vs. Detroit Tigers (8-5)
    Comerica Park - Detroit, MI. | 8/10 - 8/12

    Monday August 10, 2020 @ 6:10pm CT on NBCSN
Dallas Keuchel, LHP (2-1 2.55 ERA) vs. Michael Fulmer, RHP (0-0 13.55 ERA)

White Sox: The Southpaw became the first White Sox starter to work into the seventh inning in 2020, fanning eight, walking one and allowing one run over seven innings vs. the Brewers. He is 1-1 with a 6.75 ERA lifetime at Comerica Park.
Tigers: Fulmer will make his first appearance in two weeks thanks to postponements of his scheduled starts against the Reds and Cardinals. He'll again likely be limited to a few innings. Daniel Norris is expected to follow him as a piggyback reliever.

    Tuesday August 11, 2020 @ 6:10pm CT on NBCSN
Gio Gonzalez, LHP (0-1 7.71 ERA) vs. Tyler Alexander, LHP (1-0 1.17 ERA)

White Sox: Gonzalez makes his thrid start for the White Sox, and second on the road in four appearances. He has allowed 20 hits and seven walks over 11-2/3 innings, fanning 12. He has lost both career starts at Comerica Park.
Tigers: The sophomore lefty worked his was back into the rotation mix with a dominant appearance Sunday against the Reds. He struck out nine consecutive batters, a Major League record for a reliever and matching Doug Fister's American league record for any pitcher.

    Wednesday August 12, 2020 @ 12:10pm CT on NBCSN
Dylan Cease, RHP (2-1 4.05 ERA) vs. Matthew Boyd, LHP (0-1 9.20 ERA)

White Sox: Cease was not completely satisfied with his last effort, where he walked the leadoff hitter in four of the five innings and threw 52 of his 99 pitches for strikes. But he still threw five shutout innings.
Tigers: In a season of small sample sizes, Boyd is off to a rough start, allowing 15 runs on 23 hits over 14-2/3 innings in three starts. Some of his results have been hard luck, but his drop in strikeout rate and damage off his sliders are reasons for pause.

The team has to learn how to win, they have the pen and lineup and will still be in it with the staff most of the time.

I just have a bad feeling Renteria can't get the job done.

That said, this offense has got to do better than this. Don't let this funk go on too much longer.

Id love to see AJ Pierzynski get a chance to manage the Sox. I was really hoping he would have gotten the nod to replace Visquel at AA.

Boys look good since Keuchel called them out.

TA a double short of the cycle and it's only the 5th inning.
