First, no where did I say this was the best NBA ever. I said this was the end of the evolution, you have extrapolated that to mean superior, not me.
Second, No one here is saying players couldn’t do why they are doing today as a blanket statement. That is more of you assuming that because we don’t all believe Nique is better than Bron we think all modern players are superior to older ones.
But even you have to admit that judging how players back then do skill sets they never did back then is extrapolation and guesswork. How are you so certain about certain players being able to do things they’ve never done? I’m willing to give many the benefit of the doubt, but your certainty on the subject tells me it’s not based on any evidence but rather your dogmatic opinion that the NBA sucks now and was better back then.
