Chicago White Sox (5-4) vs. Milwaukee Brewers (3-3)
    Miller Park - Milwaukee, WI | 8/03 & 8/04

    Monday August 3, 2020 @ 7:10pm CT on NBCSN
Carlos Rodon, LHP (0-1 12.27 ERA) vs. Brett Anderson, LHP (0-0 0.00 ERA)

White Sox: Rodon allowed five earned runs over 3-2/3 innings and fanned four against Cleveland during his first start since TJ surgery in May 2019. The Southpaw will be pitching on an extra day of rest

    Tuesday August 4, 2020 @ 7:10pm CT on NBCSN
Lucas Giolito, RHP (0-1 6.52 ERA) vs. Brandon Woodruff, RHP (1-1 1.59 ERA)

White Sox: The staff ace provided the bounce back effort needed for the entire rotation, throwing six shutout innings in a 4-0 victory over Cleveland. Giolito worked primarily with his four seam fastball and change up in the win.

Rodon is the dark horse this year. If we can get anything from him, we’ve got a real shot.

2 innings and he’s pulled. Not sure why yet.

Rodon’s fastball had slipped to the 85-87 mph range. Hope it is not serious, and hopefully a muscle pull of some kind. But, definitely not good in a condensed season, with Lopez already on the mend.

Rodon with shoulder soreness. It’d be really nice if Kopech got his **** together for the stretch run! Hopefully Dunning gets stretched out too. We could use a guy like him in our rotation

Jonathan Stiever is another guy I wouldn’t mind getting fast tracked this year if we are in dire need.

We went from a potential 6 man rotation to a 4 man rotation, pretty damn quick.

If Lopez and Rodon miss significant time, is it time to look at using an opener, considering the expanded rosters?
