Completely understand why anyone would choose to opt out.

Bilal gets his chance! Guessing this will be an aid to our pass rush and a detriment to our run d?

    Any NT's available ?

It you want to look at this thing with complete logic I canít see how they will play football. Contact sport, they wonít be in a confined bubble like hockey and basketball, still traveling around the country. It sucks

Yea, I don't think we will have a full season. No bubble, so many more players than than any other sport.

If we do, Nichols is going to price himself off the Bears. Guy spent the offseason getting jacked and is already super athletic.

need to sign Damon Harrison yesterday.

As far ad the blow it sucks. I am questioning the season myself though.

what happens with the draft if there is no season? Same order as last year. that would suck for a team like the Patriots. Who may have been worse this year.

Have to have the same order as last year I guess, but that's scary as hell.

well.... i suppose its good we didnt make the playoffs last year then? 19th pick isnt terrible. Im still concerned over how the hell any team evaluates any of these players though. Outside of the guys who were locks to be top picks like lawrence.

Also though this is terrible news for our QB situation. No abikity to evaluate Mitch....or Foles..... So can you go into the draft and think u need a QB without that knowledge? idk

Not ideal but losing a NT isn't a huge deal and there's solid veterans out there still available

Michael Peirce also Opted out for the Vikings. I wonder if Body type is part of the reason these guys decided not to play?

As physical as football is for all players involved, it would make sense that linemen in general would be the most concerned, they're literally breathing all over each other all game.

If an offensive or defensive lineman end up with the virus how the heck can they stop it from transmission? The way testing is I canít see how they can test and get results for all players on both sides so close to game time. Add the travel, no bubble, etc to all the contact you would think football is the worst sport. Are some players going to be afraid, lose their aggressiveness in their play because they are afraid of contact? I am not seeing this season going all the way through.
