That's interesting because it makes little sense to do that for a contract. It pushes the Bills timeline of needing to get anything done back a year.

That would be quite unfortunate for their defense.

Stafford recently had a false-positive so he was put on the Covid-19 list. They have since come out and said it was a mistake and that he and his family do not, and have never had, covid-19. However, it got some people thinking, or at least assuming, that he should opt out. His wife had brain surgery last year for a tumor and they have 4 young kids. If he opts out the Lions are done with (Even more than they already are).

and, he is getting ripped by 'fans' for opting out. I don't know how some people have the audacity to critique players over this decision.

Stafford did not. I think he was saying, 'He opted out' in regards to White.

well, there's a large pool of college officials that may not have games to work until spring, so opt out all ya want, I guess

fans should be ashamed for being pissed at players for opting out... this could be life or death tbh. I dont think the NFL makes it the entire season and I dont see how any sports will play next season without a vaccine because players wont stay in a bubble for an entire season

not sure but there is a big difference from 8 games plus the post season and 82 games plus the post season... if any league intends to make it hockey/basketball would be ideal as long as they cut their regular season in half... if they dont no player will stay in a bubble from christmas-september.
